This is a medieval town located in southern Bohemia that has still retained its
original character. This renaissance castle - once the seat of the powerfull
Lords of the Rozmberks and the Schwarzenbergs - houses large collections of
period furniture. Flamish tapestries and historical weapons. After a guided tour
of the castle, we will visit its unique and exceptional baroque theatre. There
are only two theatres of this kind in the world. One in Sweden at Drottningholm
Royal Place and the other at Cesky Krumlov castle. The latter has been preserved
in its original baroque style until today. After lunch you will take a walk in
the historical heart of the city.
