Laterna magika is a theatre, which for already forty-five years has been developing the principle connecting projected pictures with a live stage event. Thanks to its undisputed art quality, unusual procedures and non-existent language barrier, it has been popular in particular among foreign visitors of Prague for many years.
This project is based on a combination of the laterna magica principle:
a synthesis of modern dance choreography with film language, using new elements
of multi-medial strongly stylized image techniques. It is a composition consisting of four
choreographic stories.

The programm serves as the family show
and there is a poetic story about the searching of happiness, celebrity
and knowing, that the life of everybody has the same end. It depends only
how we are able to receive and react this fact.

Part I comprises five numbers loosely related to music, painting, sculpture, dance and poetry. However different these individual arts may be, they have one thing in common, namely the imagination of the artists, which is also the subject of our variations and puzzles.
Part II, inspired by theatre, tells a little story which, unfortunately, happens over and over again.

The story of the legend of "man-power" is presented as the story of self-love. For the first time is used instead of movie the laser disc as well the video projection system.
