Rates, conditions and inspection

	14,- CZK short-term ticket for 15 minute with no tranfers (by tram or bus). It is valid  in the metro for travel of a maximun  four stations.
	20,- CZK basic transfer ticket - valid for 60 minutes during the week or for  90 minutes on the weekends or during holidays. Transfers between metro, buses, and trams are permitted.
	10,- CZK  ticket valid for children  between the ages of  6 and 15 years with tranfers permitted, (similar to the 12,- CZK tickets for adults). This ticket may also be used to permit the transport of pets, large baggage, or bikes.
	7,- CZK  ticket valid for children between the ages of  6 and  15 years, with no tranfers (by  tram or bus). It is valid  in the metro for travel of a maximun  four station.
	80,- CZK short-term season ticket valid for unlimited travel for 24 hours
	220,- CZK short-term season ticket valid for unlimited travel for 3 days (72 hours)
	280,- CZK short-term season ticket valid for unlimited travel for 7 days (168 hours)
	320,- CZK short-term season ticket valid for unlimited travel for 15 days (360 hours)

·        Holders of cards for handicapped persons "ZTP" and "ZTP-P" including a guide and a dog

·        Citizens of CR and persons with a permament stay in CR over 70 years

·        A Wheelchair with a holder of "ZTP_P" card

·        Animals (a dog) in a box

·        Small items and luggage up to dimensions 25x45x70 cm, boards not larger than 100x100x5 cm

·        Roll-shaped objects not longer then 150 cm and diameter not larger than 20 cm

·        One ski-set with sticks

·        Bicycles carried on the metro.

 Ticket validity can inspected any time during a trip or within the tranportation area by ticket of Prague Public Transit Co. Inc. Ticket inspectors on PIT vehicles and within the transportation area are entitled to ask passengers to produce valid tickets, take away invalid tickets and, in case of traveling without a valid ticket, assess a surcharge in the amount of  800,- CZK , which is reduced to 400,-CZK in case of an on-the-spot payment at the cahs office of P. P. T. Co Inc. In case of a failure to pay a charge for transportation of luggage the surcharge amounts to 50,- CZK Should a passenger violate transport conditions, ticket inspectors are entitled to assess a surcharge in the amount of  200,- CZK which is reduced to 100,- CZK in case of an on-the-spot payment. The relevant ticket inspector issues a pay receip or an acknowledgement of taking away the season ticket. Additional coupons bear protective elements. Ticket inspectors are entitled to give passengers binding instructions and identify personal data of a passenger.
